DIVERSITY ON BOARDS

Within the scope of its “Diversity on Boards” programme, the ICG has set itself the aim of promoting full diversity and inclusion in the industry bodies.

In the first phase of the programme, “Women on Boards”, the initial push is for the promotion of women. In a second phase, the institute is tackling the issue of greater diversity in corporate bodies. Different criteria are defined here, which are crucial for the future of the sector. Alongside gender diversity, aspects like entrepreneurship, different generations and nationalities, different disciplines (e.g.. economists, engineers, lawyers, psychologists), sector skills over and above the real estate industry (such as digital know-how) and internationalisation are very advantageous for the work of corporate bodies.
